Below you will find three types of information about each audit staff training course: an introductory demo, which is a brief overview of the content; a technical demo, which is a sample of the actual course material; and a detailed table of contents. Both the introductory and technical demos consist of an audio/PowerPoint presentation. The technical demos also include text material.
Instructions for downloading the demos and helpful hints for navigating through the PowerPoint presentations can be found below.

Download Instructions for Course Demos (these guidelines apply to the Internet Explorer browser; however, most other browsers operate in a similar way)
- Click one of the links above.
- Choose "Run"
- The default destination folder is c:\surgent_ast\. Click "Unzip" to download to this folder, or click "browse" to choose a different destination.
- When the files have been unzipped, click "ok" and close the Winzip Self-Extractor Box.
- Open the destination folder. For all demos, you will see a number of audio files and one PowerPoint file. (For technical demos, you will also see a Word file -- begin by opening and printing the Word file, which contains the text material for the demo.)
- Double-click on the PowerPoint file to open. On the "Slide Show" menu in the toolbar at the top of your screen, select "View Show." The audio and PowerPoint will begin automatically.
Following are a few hints for navigating through the audio/slide presentation:
- Once the audio stops, click once anywhere on the screen to advance to the next slide. (You can also use forward arrow at the bottom left corner of the screen.)
- If you want to advance to the next slide before the audio has stopped on the current slide, click twice anywhere on the screen (or using the arrow). The first click will stop the audio, the second click will advance the slide.
- To get the audio to start over on the current slide, click the microphone icon on the screen.
- To pause the audio, click the button that is to the left of the forward arrow. Then, click it again to restart the audio where you left off.
