Overview

The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) requires that most employees in the United States be paid at least the federal minimum wage for all hours worked and overtime pay at time and one-half the regular rate of pay for all hours worked over 40 hours in a workweek. However, there are a number of important exceptions to the FLSA that clients often wish to take advantage of. This webinar discusses the general application of the FLSA and then focuses on the important exceptions. This webinar also analyzes the Dept. of Labor’s proposed changes to the FLSA and their impact on business, specifically on law and accounting firms.
