Getting Started with Microsoft Excel 2010 is a three-lesson basic level course that introduces you to the Excel 2010 software and then guides you through basic Excel features using step-by-step hands-on activities.
- Lesson 1: Starting Excel and Reviewing Excel Window Elements - 1.a describe the Excel software and explain how it is used, 1.b start Excel and describe a workbook, 1.c identify Excel window elements and describe a worksheet, 1.d open an existing workbook, 1.e navigate in a worksheet, 1.f select worksheet cells, rows, and columns, 1.g locate Excel user interface options, 1.h get help in Excel, and 1.i close a workbook, create a new workbook, and exit Excel.
- Lesson 2: Building a Worksheet - 2.a save a workbook, 2.b insert, delete and rename worksheets, 2.c enter, edit and format cell contents, 2.d create formulas, 2.e use functions, and 2.f apply Accounting and Percent Style formatting.
- Lesson 3: Showing and Hiding Worksheet Elements; Previewing and Printing a Worksheet - 3.a Show and hide worksheet elements, 3.b Undo and redo an action, 3.c Work in Normal view, Page Layout view and Page Break Preview, and 3.d Set page setup options, preview, and print a worksheet in Backstage view.
